Meet Ian and Victoria. They are the sweetest, kindest, most thoughtful, in love (GORGEOUS) couple you will ever meet…seriously. I can’t tell you how many times during their day that Victoria asked me how I was doing or if I wanted to have a seat. They sent us their Save-the-Date’s with their wedding invitation, and they even reserved seats for us at their reception with the most delicious chicken, roasted red potatoes, and vegetables. It’s the small things. We were so appreciative to work with them and have them as our clients, and even more so now that we’ve become friends.
We started the day at the Melia hotel in downtown Atlanta. When we arrived Nick ventured off with the groomsmen, and I went up to Victoria’s suite with all her bridesmaids. It was a beautiful room with a perfect view of the city’s skyline. When everyone had finished with hair and makeup, we made our way to the Foundry. It’s an incredible, industrial type venue! The Foundry used to be a chemical mill back in the day, and was eventually restored into an event facility. But, if you know mills, then you know they have a gorgeous, industrial look inside: High ceilings, huge windows, brick walls and cement painted floors…rustic and romantic in one, awesome place! Ian and Victoria’s wedding was unreal. Every single moment of the day was special and filled with such emotion. As a husband and wife photography team, Nick and I could not have been more grateful to be a part of all the important moments on their wedding day.
(PS – This is a long, amazing, fun-filled post. You’ve been warned)! ;)

With the dress hanging in front of the window inside, it was very tricky to expose for both the dress and the background (I ended up with either a silhouette or an overexposed, bright background). So, I turned it around and used the reflection from the windows to capture the city view and her dress. I LOVE this picture..jpg)

There were amazing locations all around the Foundry. It made for great backdrops as we walked around taking the bridal party shots.
Victoria’s grandmother and Ian’s grandmother. This makes my heart smile :).jpg)
