Back with photos!

I hope everyone has had a very enjoyable week :)
I have returned from my mini-vacation & have so many beautiful photos to post. During my stay, I went biking a lot. With the padded backpack, thanks to my boyfriend’s dad, I was able to take my Nikon with me anywhere I went (almost), with the exception of any trees I climbed. There’s no way I would take that chance. But, I did take it with me on the many bike rides I went on: through the dense woods, on the shores of the beach, and on the sandy trails. It was so beautiful. Words can’t really get the meaning across as well as photos can….so, take a look at what I saw! :)

These twisted trees were all over the island~which has a healthy population of bobcats. I didn’t find that out until after the 3 hour bike ride in their habitat!

Happy Turkey Day!

I know it’s a little bit early; however, I will be going on vacation with no access to internet! So, there will be a week of no blogging :(
BUT, I can assure you this: I will be back with a ton of pictures to showcase on here! I am excited for the new opportunity to take pictures!
This is most likely the last blog before I leave, which is why I wanted to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving, if you celebrate it! If not, then Happy last week in November :))

Who would’ve thought?

Happy Friday! I have recently discovered a new and improved way to watermark and design my photos. I wasn’t urgently looking for a new way, however, I have found out that people are really good at stealing photos and claiming them as their own; and as you know (if you scroll down and see how I mark my pictures), I add a frame around them with my little logo in the bottom right hand corner. To the person with any average photo editing skills, it’s so easy to crop out my frame…AND logo, making it super easy to claim my photos as their own. So, I have come up with, hopefully (crosses fingers), a better way to stop this. I have added rounded edges, which additionally in my opinion adds some elegance as well as placing my watermark on the actual photo. I have kept it really simple so as not to disturb any of my photo’s elements by doing so…anywho, I thought, what better way to get some suggestions by asking my fellow blog readers! So, just let me know what you think about the new design.

Some of these photos have already been featured on the blog…a little fyi :)

Adam Berkeley - I know the feeling about wanting to make sure people know it is yours. I’ve had poems stolen from me a couple of times and it is such a pain to track them down and get people to take them off.
