An Emotional Prayer Before the Ceremony

It’s moments like these that make me feel so lucky.  To have been present for such an emotional part of someone’s day, of someone’s life, is indescribable.  You could truly feel the love, passion, and pure joy at this moment.  Rebecca and Paul wanted to say a prayer together before their ceremony, but they didn’t want to see each other before.  Paul slipped his hand around the door as his bride gently grabbed it and began praying.  In the midst of their prayer, Paul became emotional as Rebecca consoled him and lovingly rubbed his arm.

It’s also moments like these where, as a wedding photographer, it takes all that I have not to break into tears myself; for the very reason that it’s such a beautiful moment and their love is incredible, and I feel so blessed to have been chosen and trusted with Nick to capture these moments and stories.
