The very first time I noticed Gluten Free Cutie, I still had a gluten allergy (reaction, you could say). About 3 years ago, I slowly realized that any foods I ate containing gluten made me sick. So, I stopped eating gluten and I felt fabulous! I don’t know if it was because I ate so much of it or if my body randomly decided to reject it, but I couldn’t eat it for a while. And, during that time, I frequented Gluten Free Cutie often. :) My favorite was and still is the Savanna Strawberrylicious. But NOW…now…I can eat foods with gluten. I read a few different articles from different sources and saw that your allergy can change every couple years. Have you guys ever heard of that/know why I could suddenly eat gluten again?!
In any case, many thanks to Gluten Free Cutie for making tasty little treats for us all to enjoy (whether you can have gluten or not)!! And now they offer big cakes!! Calling all gluten free brides…!

You guys…you wouldn’t believe my excitement when I saw on Facebook that Katelyn James was going to be in Atlanta! As a loyal blog stalker for quite some time, I couldn’t believe that I was going to have the opportunity to meet her! You can ask Nick…I was literally jumping up and down with excitement and talking a million miles a minute. And, I was able to meet so many other amazing photographers who I’ve never actually met in person.
So much excitement for a Monday night!
Katelyn spoke about creating a brand and a community, not just a customer. She emphasized the importance of making connections and creating a lifestyle with your business, not just a one-time experience with your clients. I was so intrigued by everything she was saying, because it all rang true…I could identify with so much of what she was saying. Inspired doesn’t even begin to explain how I feel!
I strive to be apart of the photographer community, to grow as a business, to grow as a person and as a husband and wife team, and make friends all along the way…to be apart of something bigger.
Thankful for the Scobey’s putting this together and to have met these amazing ladies last night!
