A beautiful, beautiful place to take all the pictures your heart desires. Talk about a photo trip! I felt at home at this Pacific place: Every other person had a nice sized SLR in their hands, with a tripod close by. It was amazing! Not only that, but I loved the weather {despite the rain, which was, surprisingly, not that bad at all}. The rain in Seattle: Well, it was worse here in Atlanta that it ever was the weekend I was there. Granted, a few days isn’t enough to compare, but still, it was amazing. The temperature was amazing, too. Not too cold, or too hot; if anything, it was the wind that made it a bit too chilly.
We visited Pike Place Market, the Space Needle {during the day & at night}, the Seattle Aquarium, Mount Rainier park, amongst other places. We really just wandered and adventured everywhere we could via monorail, train, by foot…It was so fun.

This was the skyline from up high in the Space Needle. Notice, it’s not all rain & clouds…but we did get to see a storm come in!

The bottom of Mount Rainier; the environment looked like something from a fantasy movie! Everything had such a whimsical feel!

His converse {Chuck Taylor’s} are grey; mine are red {& better}!

I love this one – we set up a timed shot {as always} and I didn’t get the cropping right. But, I love it: my face in focus, but you can see him smiling =)

A chef preparing at the restaurant in downtown Seattle, called Champagne. It looked like a great place to eat – we didn’t have enough time to try it though.

The skyline at night, from the top of the Space Needle.

Fish catching 101

We ate at Serious Pie for lunch one day! It is seriously the most amazing pizza I’ve ever had. Recommended by Delta Airline’s Sky magazine and the Travel Channel, Serious Pie is a restaurant we read about on our 5 hour plane ride. It was only 10 minutes from our hotel! How could we not try it? I ate an entire buffalo mozzarella cheese pizza, and saved one piece for Nick. Then, we went to the Pike Place Market, bought a dozen donuts, and ate 6 mini-donuts a piece. It was wonderful; my stomach did not agree.

Our last picture before we left to catch the plane.
